Ouse Valley Walk Suggestions

For many of the walks that I lead I produce a fly sheet that gives details of the walk, it's approximate route and some information of the area and it's history. It's meant to add some additional interest to the walk and not to replace a suitable map. So please feel free to down load these AdobeTM Acrobat documents to use as suggestions for walks in the area. I strongly recommend an Ordinance Survey Landranger map to use on your walk. Although some paths are way marked many more are not and it's easy to go off course with out realising it. Bedfordshire , although much improved in recent years is not the best of counties when it comes to looking after it's footpath network and completing the definitive map. All the walks are around 6 to 7.5 miles and so can be considered to be half day walks.

Additionally, there are some smaller walks suggested by the Bedfordshire County Council on their tourism web site, link button at the bottom of this page.
