[5] Meet at 7:30 am at Bedford Park Gates, Bedford for Road Runner Bus or at 10:00 am at Burnham Overy Staithe for independent travellers. Cost £9 per head, booking essential.

We always welcome suggestions for walks, short or long, evening, morning or weekends away. If you have an idea for a walk then please fill out the linked form (Acrobat format) and hand in to any committee member, or if you are able, e-mail to the walks organiser. The programme is issued for periods of four months starting at January, May and September and is normally finalised my the middle of the previous month. If your suggestion does not make the desired programme it will be held over for the next period if suitable. Out of pocket expenses to research walks are payable for car mileage (currently 25p / mile).
Not the facial variety but the insect freeloaders who like to hitch a ride and a free meal. Unfortunately they can leave disease which can have unexpected consequences. Please download and read the Pamphlet (size 228 kbytes) as these pests are on the rise in the UK due to the warming climate.
