Day Trip to The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford Sunday the 7th of March. A different day out is on offer with a visit to the transformed Ashmolean Museum of Art & Archeology in Oxford. Meet at Bedford Bus Station at 9:45 am for the 10:00am X5 bus to Oxford. Once in Oxford a break for refreshments then take in the views before visiting the Museum. After the museum there are options for a light meal before taking the bus to Bedford arriving back before 7:00pm (or later if you wish to stay on some more). 2010 Bedfordshire Walking Festival. There will be a waking festival in Bedfordshire again this year after the success of the inaugural one last year. Mark your diaries for 4th to 12th of September for the second festival timed to coincide with the Ramblers Association 75th anniversary. New Year Programme Released The first programme of the new decade is now available for viewing and download on the Programme Page. Worthy of note is plan to re-visit the Isle of Wight at the end of June to undertake the Vectris 8 walks and a weekend in Southern Brittany walking with Jeanne-Marie at her new home of Nantes in August.
